Job Summary
- Full time permanent yard and store operative required for yard and store area of a busy fruit packhouse. A varied role within a small team working to a daily plan Responsible to the Storage Supervisor.
- £12.15 to £13.85 per hour basic depending on experience.
- Overtime available at 125% of basic wage
- Some weekend work on a rota basis.
Job Description

- Receiving and dispatching consignments

- Use Stock management software via hand held scanners
- Site maintenance of buildings and yard area
- Undertake any other duties as requested
Working Hours and Benefits
- Full Training provided in business procedures and operating protocols
- Hours: 7:15am Start. 40 Hours per week
- Adrian Scripps Ltd currently runs a 6-day operation, from Monday to Saturday. This role will work on a flexible shift pattern, covering 5 out of the 6 days, across all operational running hours. You may be required to work outside these hours to meet the demand of the business.
- Overtime: After 48 hours paid at 125% of basic rate.
- paid fortnightly.
- Holiday allowance: 28 days per annum, including bank holidays.
- Additional working days and regular overtime is available.

Qualifications & Experience
- Forklift experience essential
- Certificates not needed as full certification will be part of training
- Experience of hand held scanners for stock management desirable but not essential
- Basic skills of English and Maths in order to carry out the role
- Able to work on own initiative, and part of a team
The Company
- Adrian Scripps Ltd is a farming and packing company, based between Tonbridge and Paddock Wood. This role will be located at Moat Farm, Five Oak Green, Tonbridge, Kent, TN12 6RR. Due to location, own transport would be required.
